Images are documenting a new chapter in the life of airplane and Plane Transportation. From a guy sipping gahwa on a cultural carpet by the edge of the road to a group of little children saluting the plane on its last flight, it seems so magical.
The aircraft, which Saudia Airlines decommissioned between 2016 and 2017, were moved under strict security. It is more than 850 kilometers from Jeddah to Madinah, next to Qassim, and finally reaches Riyadh.
Numerous residents congregated in large groups to see the unique spectacle. The Boeing 777-200ER versions transported 341 people in three-class cabins while they were operated by Saudia.

The General Entertainment Authority will convert five retired aircraft into shops and restaurants. It will be done for interactive experiences for both adults and children. This is part of the Boulevard Runway project, done in partnership with Saudia Airlines.

Turki Alalshik, the authority’s chairman, started a campaign called “Where Are They? … ” Kindly Let Me Know” to follow the aircraft as they approach Riyadh. The campaign encourages locals to share photos of the aircraft during its road trip.
Alalshik also started a contest, offering a luxury car as a prize for the best photo of the planes. Many people who heard about the final journey gathered along the highway to Riyadh.
“Here are some images and videos showing a truck that is genuinely hauling planes, in contrast to the regular scenes of big planes moving automobiles and trucks. We don’t typically see something like that on the roadways,” said Ahmed Al-Shalaan about Plane Transportation from Riyadh on X.

The transportation of the planes led to many memorable moments as people captured their experiences with the unusual motorcade. It also caused traffic jams as drivers were amazed by the sight of the planes.
Many people slowed down and some stopped to take photos and selfies with the aircraft in the background.
“This is such a rare and unique experience, which is why everyone is eager to see it,” said Abdulsalam Al-Ahmad from Madinah on X.
When the airplane landed in Umm Aldome, Taif, on Thursday, the locals there were treated to a strange sight. To celebrate the drivers’ arrival, a special breakfast was organized.

Abdullah Al-Omair, a local resident, shared about the memorable Plane Transportation on X: “Today is a historic day in Umm Aldome, and we are thrilled to see the giant aircraft pass through our town.”
